Very stinky product, can`t use it!
The handle of the tool stinks very strongly, this unpleasant smell remains even on the hands after use, I could not use this tool because of chemical smell of the handle paint. This chemical material can be cancer provocative!

Knifeception done poorly
We heard you like box cutters so we put a box cutter inside your box cutter
This would be a good knife if you didn’t have to open it twice, the knife itself is just the grey part, the rest just serves as a bulky, albeit fun to deploy handle extension. the body is made from some type of non ferrous casting metal of dubious resilience. The blade extension mechanism itself is coarse, rattly and very unsatisfying to use, and when fully extended only about a third of the blade is exposed, so some extra large hook blades likely won’t work (the regular double sided ones should be usable though)
This is Not a spring assisted knife, it is a regular sliding box cutter with a fancy folding handle
Overall quite a mediocre knife for the price, if not just in general, the spring would be cool, if it didn’t just deploy another box cutter within a box cutter
Better knives with similar, quicker opening mechanisms (that don’t require you to open another knife) can be had for less

poor design
purchased a Craftsman folding retractable utility knife CMHT10384 and I could not put a blade in the knife. there is nothing on Craftsman website for instructions to load a blade.

Whats everyone complaining about?
I never have had a problem changing a blade. never needed instructions as there is two buttons, one to open, and one to change the blade.
Reliable, feels good, no issues here.

No instructions
My husband broke his due to no instructions came with this supposedly simple CRAFTSMAN 3-Blade 4-in Folding Steel-painted Utility Knife. I excellence looking at anything and know how it works. However this is mess. Why would craftman be so cheap not to give their customer some sort of directions. Which I cannot find anywhere on line.

I bought this yesterday and am taking it back today. I like the design but it's cheap button won't allow me to put a blade in and use it as retractable. There are no instructions on the packaging at all.
