Description
This 7.5 cu. ft. dryer from Samsung features MultiSteam(TM) technology with the Steam Refresh, Steam Wrinkle Away and Steam Sanitize options. This dryer can be set to 5 different temperatures and offers a choice of 14 cycles and 11 options. The Vent Sensor™ detects duct blockages and reminds you to clean your vent. It also allows you to forward these alerts to your smartphone. A convenient product with a beautiful and elegant exterior! It is highly recommended to use a 4" (10.2 cm) diameter rigid aluminum or galvanized steel duct with this product.
- 7.5 cu ft of capacity
- Ecodry automatically adjusts the drying cycle time and temperature to reduce energy consumption, allowing for energy efficient and planet friendly clothes drying
- Steam eliminates odors and releases wrinkles from clothing, keeping your fabric as refreshed as possible
- Filter Check Indicator alerts users when it is time to empty the lint trap, allowing for increased drying efficiency
- Vent Sensor shuts off the dryer and alerts users if the dryer duct becomes blocked
- Sensor Dry detects the moisture level of a load and adjusts the drying time accordingly
- The long-lasting stainless steel drum won't chip, rust or discolor over time

Taking so long to dry
I got mine like one year ago but take so long to dry (4hours)I cleand del vent outside and inside of the machine bit still taking so long....

worst appliances ive ever owned
ive owned 5 samsung appliance for 4 year and 4/5 have issues and required expensive replacment parts including this dryer. the relay went on the main board so even with the power off the drum keeps spinning. i will never buy and samsung appliance again and warm family a friends to stay away.

Love it but I need a manual
I really love the dryer and haven't had any problems at all in the past 3.5 years. I would love to have the manual though because I don't know how to set up the steam feature. Is there a manual online?

Looks great but buyer beware!
we have had this dryer for a littler over 3 years. right after the 1 year warranty expired, the control board decided to malfunction. now the dryer won't stop spinning, even if you turn off the dryer. the only way to get it to stop spinning after the cycle is complete is to unplug the machine or leave the door open. it wastes a ton of electricity due to this flaw. avoid this dryer!

bedding burritos
hi, anyone know how to prevent what we call "bedding burritos" in the dryer?
when we put in sheets or quilts or blankets, they end up rolling up into a burrito, and only the outer layers get dry. unroll it and the inside is still wet.
every time.

No delay cycle Option
There is no delay cycle option, we cant time the machine at a stipulated time and enjoy off peak power rates, This is disappointing.

Not happy
less than 2 years and already broken. i can not close the dryer door without it turning on. so frustrsting since this is not a cheap dryer. disappointed that there is only a year warranty as well! we have taken care of our dryer and alresdy has issues so soon. disappointing. will buy a maytag or whirlpool when it finally completely dies.

i paid a lot of money for top of the line products. after about 18 months of use i had to pay almost $400 to repair the dryer. now, two years after i purchased them i have to pay another $300 to repair the washer. i have no confidence that these appliances will be service free in the future. i will not purchase another samsung product.
