Description
This CRAFTSMAN tool chest offers an ideal storage solution for tools and supplies with its innovative design and great price. With a width of 26-in, it features five drawers and a hinged cover to offer spaces of different sizes to store hand tools, power tools, parts and everything in between. Made of black-coloured steel, this tool chest can support a total of 50 lb per drawer, offering a total storage capacity of 3589 cu. in. It has a ball-bearing drawer slide system, recessed side handles and an external keyed locking system. You get quick and easy access to the tools that you use most frequently, and with a simple turn of a key, you will not have to worry about your gear. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty, this product can be combined with the CMST22741BK (41536891) rolling chest, sold separately, in order to create a nine-drawer tool center with lid, therefore offering an excellent storage solution.

You get what you pay for
This isn't the smooth gliding drawers that you hope they are. The locking mechanism is so inconsistent and unreliable. If you're buying this piece, don't put anything valuable in it. This is NOT a high quality unit that will be secure. Two stars because it didn't fall apart for the hour I owned it, before returning it.

Great Little Toolbox
I use this toolbox in my shed and it’s th perfect size any back yard mechanic jobs I have. Easy to handle with great features and the right price and size for anybody wanting a toolbox. The space in this box is incomparable whereas other manufacturers dont have 5 drawers in theirs.

A great majority of my tools etc are Craftsman products. Unfortunately I find my new chest badly damaged. I wonder if it is time to start rethinking my allegiance with Craftsman?

Just purchased this set. Great tool box for the price. Nice ball bearing slides for the drawers. Lower box has nice deep drawers.
