Feeding Problem
Continously feeds line, gets all wound up and the cutter does not seem to be strong enough to cut the line either.

Under engineered
Right out out of the box, I could tell fit and finish was not what I expected from a Craftsman product. The auxiliary handle had lots of play after adjustment. The speed control switch also had lots of mush. FYI just leave the switch on "High" because the low setting might save you battery life but will not have the strength to get through an area without going through a second or third pass. Also the 2.0 AH battery produced about 30 mins of work before dying. Make sure to buy a second battery.

Useless Product
Lightweight, easy to use, great UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO CUT GRASS. If the grass is more than a couple inches high, The automatic feeder keep automatically feeding and you can't stop it. Once the line gets too long, the trimmer stops, and you have to take the head apart and feed the line back into the head. Useless.

Terrible Battery LIfe
Other reviews are accurate, on the low power setting I get 20-30 mins of use out of a single battery charge and it does take at least 8 hours to recharge the battery. Product descriptions uses 1/4 acre as size of yard recommended for, definitely only good for up to a 4 ft x 4ft area in one charge.
It is a nice weight and the edging feature is helpful.

I regret my decision
Battery life is fairly short, would work for a very small yard with a light work load. As the battery drains, it loses its ability to trim anything past light patches of tall grass.
The longest I've gotten effectively out of a full charge was ~20 minutes.
The auto feed system is a nightmare. It's constantly slapping the line off the cutting blade, and after about 4 uses the spool was empty.
Even at full charge, it struggles to cut through anything thicker than a blade of grass. (I understand this isn't intended for heavy duty applications, I'm not talking cutting through brush.. it actually struggles to cut small patches of overgrown weeds.
If you're edging a garden in the suburbs and nothing more, it will treat you well minus eating through spools with the auto feed system, but if you're actually trying to weed whack, your money is best spent on a superior product.
Ergonomically it's not bad, weight distribution is nice, and it looks nice.
Overall, not worth the purchase.

Surprisingly effective for a single string.
Here's the other have of my combo pack review. While the blower that came with this absolutely stunk. This little single string trimmer was surprisingly decent. the main trick is to make sure you're using between a 4 and 6ah battery to see the performance. While this isn't the most basic entry level trimmer on V20. It's still decent for a brushed motor unit. My only other suggestion is to buy a 3 piece refill kit for the spools then restring them once they are done with a better trimmer string. I use Ugly Line brand.
