Description
A water-based and coal tar-based emulsion coating. Used to prevent cracks and deterioration of asphalt pavements caused by wear and tear, freezing, oil and gasoline spills, salt, sun and rain. No unpleasant smell. Easy and fast application.

Comment doit-on préparer l’asphalte avant d’appliquer le produit
Bonjour, pour bien préparer la surface il faut :
1- s’assurer de voir si vous avez des fissures. Si oui les réparer avec des produits à cette effet ( crack filler / asphalte froide / mélange de nivelage ) bien lire les indications. Ces travaux doivent se faire une semaine au préalable, mais avant de sceller votre surface s’assurer que les fissures sont bien sec.
2- Si vous avez des tache d’huiles ou autres, bien vouloir les nettoyer avec un nettoyeur / dégraisseur , lorsque sèche, vous appliquez un apprêt pour tache, cela évitera que le nettoyeur / dégraisseur passe à travers le scellant.
3- une fois tout ces conditions rempli vous pouvez faire l’application du scellant tout en vous assurant de nettoyer votre surface avant l’application du scellant. Nous suggérons de le faire tôt le matin ou en fin de journée pour ne pas le faire sous les rayons du soleil directement. Et parce que les températures estivales sont difficiles à prévoir, nous recommandons d’attendre 48 à 72 hrs avant de se stationner par la suite.

Great coverage and look
I have used other brands. This one was on sale so I gave it a try and I ended up using less product than normal and it had great coverage.

Stinks
Price was good. Quality varied by pail but generally on par with others I have used but stinks much worse the others. I knew that but thought for the price the smell would go away in a day. Not so - two weeks later I still smell it. I won't buy again.

Horrible sealer - very watery - poor coverage
I used it and it barely did 1/3 of my driveway and looked very crappy and barely covered anything. it was so watery. I went outt o buy another sealer and it looked amazing. it covered the driveway so well and was thicker and covered more. you can easily see the difference between the crappy resisto sealer and the new one i bought. i went over the resisto with the better new stuff because it looked awful.

Came back to Rona / driveway sealer awful
Came back to Rona amd I was impressed with the make over. Products In stock , staff, organized and clean.
Part of my Reno was the driveway needed a sealer.
Pretty simple stuff tar and chemical to seal the drivway. Followed the flip for 10 minutes left it for 30 while driving ito the project .
Prep the driveway had all the proper tools.
Opened the product did not look right. So I mixed ot for 5 minutes. Would not blend properly ?
Went on beautiful. Return 2 days today to find bare patches ? Does not make sense i applied it twice .
Not sure why this product was defective?
Other than you get what you pay for is my only answer .
Try another brand is my next choice .
Hope Rona gets this ? They done a wonderful job on all the stores .don’t start losing us now on selling poor quality products .
I had in store Assistance they could of Said avoid this product ?
Half a Saturday of a holiday weekend wasted .

Needed adjustment
Need to remove 25 percent of black water to properly mix. Ingredients semester to float in middle so a good stir stick is needed to start blending. Than use a paint spinner.Looks like heavy cream at this point. Do not mix back in the black water. Apply with your tool.PS to do it right
Spend twice the money and get a better product .

J’ai installé ce produit l’automne dernier , après un hiver sans déneigement , c’est exactement comme si je n’avais rien appliqué , c’est disparu totalement pourtant c’était garanti 2 ans et ce n’a pas fait 7 mois. Je vais essayer le produit supérieur avec mention 6 ans en espérant ne pas être aussi déçu

only one winter lifetime
I bought resisto asphalt driveway sealer-4 (four) years ( there were 3 types sealer available in store, 2, 4, and 6 years, ) in Sept 2020. My driveway space is less than 2,000 sq.ft, but I bought 3 times this product for a total of 16 ( sixteen ) of this packaging ( each contained 17 L), it
didn't cover the whole driveway yet. So the edge of my driveway was not painted.
I read the instruction very carefully from the site and Youtube. I did a good preparation and waited a whole week sun or cloudy wether, We ( 2 peasons) spent 2 days making the job well done. We expected it would be good for next 4 years.
Now winter is almost over and the snow is melting. unfortunately, we are very surprising that almost 40% of the sealer painting has gone on my driveway. The sealer should be there on my driveway for 4 years! But it is only one winter, the 4 year sealer is gone. Where to get my refund!
