This dual-bevel 12-in glide Bosch mitre saw features a smooth cutting motion, accurate performance and a space-saving patented Axial-Glide system, which is exclusive to Bosch. Pre-aligned Squarelock fences help ensure precision throughout the saw's entire lifespan. The hinged glide arm allows for incredibly smooth control. What's more, this mitre saw helps save space by eliminating the dual rail system. This allows the saw to work right against a wall. Features an ergonomic soft grip, an ambidextrous trigger handle, and sliding material supports for increased length. Built for precision and durability, this mitre saw is equipped with a combination dust chute and vacuum adapter to help collect 90% of dust generated.

Does this have a brake and laser?
Thanks for asking! The model does not feature a laser but is equipped with an automatic electric brake, which is designed to stop the blade from spinning in about five (5) seconds after you release the trigger switch. It is useful when making certain cuts in wood where a coasting blade would result in a wide, imprecise cut. This saw makes me smile
This saw is awesome! The cuts are accurate with very little dust and the weight makes it so stable on the bench. It isn't even particularly noisy although I do wear protective gear. My one and only criticism is that I find the trigger mechanism awkward but that's because, unfortunately, I have very short fingers that go with my petite hand. Way to go, Bosch!

Fits my needs
My non-sliding mitre saw has served me well over many years; however, I need a saw with more cross cut width and able to cut taller baseboards. It has a few features including a stop to give chop saw capability only, a hold down clamp and a small handy feature when you change the blade, a place to hold the fence up. I'm looking forward to warmer weather when I can work outside in my garage workshop and use this saw more.
